Impeachment: The Final Solution

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer must really be eager to find out who is now, or has ever been a supporter of Donald J. Trump (to borrow a phrase from Senator Joseph McCarthy). We know Senators Hawley and Cruz and the MyPillow guy, Mike Lindell were, and are being punished accordingly. But that won’t be enough for the vengeful Establishment (otherwise known as the Swamp). Elements of Trump supporters could be anywhere and everywhere and their alleged un-American activities will need to be brought into the open and finally stamped out.

What better way to create a public spectacle than the Soviet era type of “show trial“? Just as Stalin used the trials to demonstrate that “enemies of the state” existed, Chuck and Nancy hope to make the same point. The foolish new impeachment trial of the former president however, to the chagrin of the swamp, won’t do much more other than illustrate how deranged Congress has become. Impeachment now is just another meaningless statement by a group of partisans and will draw less of an audience than football players demonstrating their best kneeling positions. It certainly won’t discourage or expose Trump’s 74 million followers. It is likely that new Congressional investigations will be started, perhaps along the lines of the infamous HUAC (House Un-American Activities Committee) to identify anyone who dares to question the Establishment narrative, and to extinguish their influence.

The media, including social media, are doing their part, and some far left members of Congress are taking a lead role. But the complete demolition of Trump and his followers has taken an even more sinister turn. It is now acceptable that legal counsel be destroyed if they take up any cause on behalf of the 45th President. Freedom of Speech and the right to counsel are viewed as dangerous when applied to Trump. Just as with the “Red Scare” and the Palmer Raids, the stakes are high and some Constitutional safeguards must be sacrificed in the view of the Establishment.

However, this latest impeachment gambit will backfire. In reality, it will serve a number of purposes for the MAGA agenda — it occupies Congress and therefore takes away valuable time for enacting their destructive agenda and reversing the Trump America First agenda; it continues to bolster support for the President; and it makes unity almost impossible leaving little hope of compromise between weak Republicans and Democrats for getting an unpopular program into law. The Left leaves no doubt that no one will ever accuse them of being either smart or pro-American.

That being said, why is the Establishment so determined to destroy an ex-President? Simply put, he and his followers, represent the major obstacle to the swamp’s continued enjoyment of unfettered power with all its perks. For decades, the Establishment, whether Republican or Democrat threw a few crumbs to the common folk and thereby managed to reap the rewards made possible by endless re-election. Except for a few members of Congress who really care about the American people, party affiliation means very little. Heated battles occur and then everyone in the swamp joins hands and celebrates another victory for themselves. Trump exposed this and would not go along. Hence, the totally irrational attacks.

In the meantime activist business leaders, academia, Congress and local governments are acting together to prevent anyone from doing business, who does not adhere to the swamp’s groupthink. The goal is to blacklist them, make them outcasts and unemployable. It may seem heavy handed but when you can’t think rationally, the ends justify the means and we know isolating, marginalization and dehumanizing a group of people can be effective. The failure of the Jim Crow Laws and Nuremberg Laws in the long run was not due to their implementation but rather to the fact that these laws were race based. They do work to achieve their evil intent and they are providing a framework for what is being done today. Today’s outcasts are people in red hats and MAGA shirts.
